i'm trying out a newish style so I randomly decided to draw misty in it for a lil testRelated content

she was the first so she has a lot of nostalgia goin for her, though they're all pretty much even in the anime

Yeah, ehhh not really they started losing likeability with Dawn, Dawn was cool, Iris barely skimmed by, Serena is just intolerable, she's the worst player character/companion designed yet. Course the anime went down hill after Diamond and Pearl, I tried watching one episode of Black and White, and Ash forget in a gym battle that flying was weak against electric, I mean come on that's just horrible.

every season ash goes back to newb mode for the sake those starting with that generation. misty was cool, but I never REALLY liked her all that much

Misty was the bomb she was tough, cool, cute and had awesome sisters. May was cute, a bit whiny, but made up for her lack of battle with contests. Dawn was whiny, but she had a certain charm. Iris couldn't even listen to her so annoying. Serena well beating Team Rocket by herself with a new pokemon yeah that just ruined it for me that and she gets in the way of pokeshipping.

I've seen that movie only once surprisingly, and I hated mewtwo with a passion because of it. lol

Well he was but I don't really blame him under the circumstances.
Born in a lab to be used as a tool for Team Rocket, he blows the island up..., well the building but he cleared the island with that blast. Then Giovanni acts like he's saving him and taking him in as a pupil/friend (even though he's the one who payed to make him), only to use him for Giovannis true purpose for him in the first place. Then after he learns all this and the power restraining armor, he finds out he was betrayed, not to mention that he was at Team Rockets HQ so he didn't really see the best examples of Humanity, so I don't blame him for what he did. Humans can be very evil and Mewtwo saw quite a bit of that evil.

but he also became exactly what he thought was evil and created clones who then began to maul the other pokemon. mewtwo was cool but he needs to stay in gen 1 nostalgia. that's were he belongs

Which is usually how most tragic heroes end up, you become the thing you set out to end, destroy, etc. He was technically a child and even though being strong and psychic he was still immature, and learned from his surroundings which was mostly Team Rocket.
Plus seeing as he was the strongest legendary till Gen IV and is still one of the strongest to this day (Not talking game wise but anime)

I disagree Mewtwo should be more important along with the older ones. The pokemon designs get more and more horrible and the legendaries become worse and worse with exceptions, the cool ones should have more screen time.

that's opinion, gen I was the worst generation if it wasn't the first. a lot of evoloutions are literally an extra head or two, or it just gets bigger. plus the games were unbalanced and glitchy. phycics were overpowerd beyond believe and a lot of pokemon were literally animals, nothing that special. the games only get better in my opinion as they are more functional and fix a lot of the problems with the earlier generations.

Not really because if not for gen 1 none of the other gens would exist. Gen 1, 2, 3 are my favorite Gen 5 and 6 are just eh.... they seem so half assed sure the graphics are good but graphics don't make the game.
The problems are only natural it was the 90's after all, that doesn't take away from the experience.
Pokemon are supposed to be animals if you've ever seen the early concepts then it was all supposed to be animals, in Gen 1-3 were all pretty much animals. The fact they're having to include items as pokemon means they're running low on ideas I mean a key pokemon, a pile of garbage that's scraping the bottom of the barrel, I could go on really. I bet eventually there's going to be a bed pokemon....
That's technically how evolution works, it doesn't need to be outlandish I mean that sea rock thing evolves into a walking sea rock. Dino some how gaining heads for hands
The new pokemon look so lame Meleotta, Diancie, Hoopa, Audino, so many, it was hard for me to pick a starter this gen because they all look so bad through out their evolutions. There are a total of maybe 30 I like between 5 and 6 and that may be pushing it
The series has lost the mysticism it had there were so many rumors and theories, they fleshed out the legendaries stories more that all ended after Gen 4, course the theory about Genesect is interesting and a refresher to see.

Just because it's an OPINION doesn't make it not true
Actually it's not just mine but many gamers and fans of the series.
Also I stated a few facts such as

They have little to no detail on the new legendaries outside the main story of the games. Gen 5 had a few but that's it the event for Keldeo did share a small amount and they had said some about his companions if you ventured around a bit, Kyurem had extra details if you talked to the NPCs and the curfew was a nice touch. Other than that outside the main story for Zekrom/Reshiram it wasn't much.Β
Gen VI had none but maybe 5 NPCs talk about them in the game besides Team Flare, Sycamore, and your friends. Then Zygarde was mentioned by two
