commissioned by derpyfan4eva.deviantart.com/Link gets real tired of outsiders calling him Zelda, however it seems it's starting to effect him...her. Link sure has some huge piles of chu jelly...

That's the dangerous side to commissions and trades. Β One hand a payer pays for artwork or others tasks but in the end nothing comes about. Β Two the creator makes the product but the payer doesn't honor the deal. Β I guess perhaps a two fold system should be in place. Β For works invoking multiple pictures and a long sequence/process (which I do love) perhapsΒ collateral is necessary. Β Either the payer pays half of payment before artwork is made (so if nothing comes about only half is lost) and once competed the other half of the agreed payment is given. Β
Or the other way the artist makes half of the product/artwork and waits for half of the payment. Β Once given the artist competes the work fully and the other half is then given. Β Doing so gives more assurance that payment will be supplied plus if it doesn't the artist can then not waste time and focus on other projects from other more reliable buyers (and make the personal choice to continue or not) or possibility if a different investor is interested to seeing the work competed might give the money and the artist competes the work plus maybe something special for the one who gave the money as thanks and gratitude and inspire others to do so in the future.

the thing is, I ask for the money before I even start working usually, to ensure this. But the guy said that his checks were taking a bit to process so I went head and did it anyway as I had nothing to do. I will go and remind him.

yes there are different types of whistling.
normal whistling is usually a single line of air.
a sexy whistle(which is usually a short way to tell a girl or woman that she looks very good.) is two lines of air (can't exactly show you because i don't know how to type the lines in word form.)
there's also the calling whistle used to hail cabs and get peoples attention, that's a line of air that circles back around and then a quick burst of air. and for some reason people have to stick two fingers in their mouth to do it.
and that's the three types of whistling i know of.
