hmm...that's kinda interesting.. well all I can really say is try to improve on your art, but don't change it from pixels, that gives it a bit of uniqueness. The story itself was fine^ ^

The plot will thicken as the story progresses.

With Paintbrush 2 - DA Muro was causing too many problems for me!
Using Paintbrush 2, I've been experimenting on different techniques, like shading and lighting.
I've taken pics off of the internet and even copied a real human eye pixel by pixel once!
So I know this program certainly has the potential to create great works of art - I just have to master it is all.
Also, sometimes when I don't use as much shading or lighting, it's because it's too dark, like during the storm in the Prologue of my story. The more light there is, the more contrast I can show, but I feel like theres something more I can do.

be wary of how you use colors for shadows and different lighting.

At least with the eye-drop tool I can keep colors constant from page to page.
I'm always careful, and I'm open to any suggestions on what I can do better.
This series is like a testing grounds of sorts.

if you were to look at an anime (not a drawing an actual animation) you would see that the characters all have simplistic shadows that are constant with the character forever.

sort of like here, the lines are very simply upon inspection, but solid shadow colors are applied where it matters

I guess I never thought to give my characters outlines, because I felt it would ruin their appeal.
I still have a lot to learn, but I'll do my best to improve!

they don't necessarily need outlines as much as they need cleaner smoother lines, but hey you have to start from somewhere

i'm not a digital artist so I can't really help you, but I do know that there a ton of options as well as image software and brushes go, so just do a little searching and you'll find something in no time
