Description Okay, this is an AU (Alternate Universe) where Ciel had been adopted by Integra Fairebrooke Wingates Hellsing. Even they both live in different time periods, I can really see Integra taking Ciel in because she has a soft spot in her heart and seems a lot more sympathetic to more than one would think.
I could also imagine Ciel going along with it because he is still a boy and perhaps not much choice to do so,. Causing him to be grumpy 24/7 about the whole deal.

Yes, I disregarded Sebastian Michaelis in this AU because.. I'm honestly not a huge Sebastian fan(No offense to those who are.)
-----------------------------

” MUST you insist I act nicely, mother? I do so hate lying to those bean counters you insist meeting with every two months. They do realize that they’re worth nothing to the real financial world, do they not?” Ciel said with a huff, he loved playing with soldiers and doll house with his mother, however detested the meetings she had to attend.

”Now Ciel, these men are very professional,” Integra grinned. “Let’s try to make them at least feel as if they are actually important.”

Ciel gives a huff of compliance.

“Yes, mother. If you insist.”

I simply have a hell of a story for this: For a long time, the Hellsing and Phantomhive families were good friends, able to deal with the supernatural while having covers or more natural professions, a toy company and a military contractor. Integra was good friends with Rachel and Vincent (being the former's schoolmate if the age lines up, I am unsure) and was made to promise that if they were to die, she'd look after Ciel. Then comes the fire and kidnapping. Rachael and Vincent die, Ciel makes the deal with Sebastian.
When rescued, Ciel and Integra meet, revealing his parents' deaths. Ciel is adopted and the two organisations semi-merge. The Phantomhive staff move to the Hellsing Manor where they being working with Integra's own guardian, Walter Dornez and a young woman who helps with security. Sebastian reluctantly allows Walter to see to the boy's comfort for a moment as he meet with an absentee member of the Hellsing Organisation

"It's been a long time, demon."
"Indeed, though my new master has given me the name Sebastian Michaelis."
"I've heard."
"Do you still go by the name I've known you for all this time?"
"I go by Alucard these days."
"Quite an interesting name, all things considered."
"Your master is now the ward of my own. Seems we'll be working together once more."
"Yes, hopefully with less bloodshed this time."
"The question isn't whether or not. But who's? Mine, yours, or everyone else's."
"We'll just have to see, my old friend."

There is hatred and respect, there is a past buried deep. Neither wants it uncovered. The two keep it civil to ensure the safety and happiness of their masters: The No Life King and one Hell of a Butler.

And this is the most delicious part

Sebastian: I have put the young lord to bed and have prepared his schedule for tomorrow.
Integra: Very good. You may leave.
Sebastian: *bows before leaving*
Integra: ...I take it it's safe to talk?
Alucard: *makes himself visible* He and I have... an understanding. He won't listen in on me.
Integra: Good. Tell me, what is he capable of?
Alucard: He is more powerful than any vampire we have ever dealt with.
Integra: Is that going to be a problem?
Alucard: *gives a smile that says "I should not be liking where this is going as much as I am right now"*
Integra: Then this is your order; no matter what I say, no matter what happens. No matter if my life is in danger, when Ciel's soul is forfeit, kill Sebastian Michaelis.
Alucard: *bows while taking his hat off* It shall be done, my master.

Do you honestly think "Integ-ma" would allow any such thing as allowing a demon to take her son's soul? Especially when she has someone like Alucard on had?

I don't know, but maybe they can live together... However, Victoria has Pip's soul inside of her...

Oh, they do.
But remember why Sebastian is there: He gets Ciel's soul when the deal they struck is complete: specifically the avenging of his parents.
Give that knowledge to the woman who took "Nazis are invading, the Catholic church is crusading... again. I am not going to be goosestepping and I've heard too much about the church to be ok with them" and thought it was rational to open the proverbial Pandora's box and have the strongest vampire to ever walk the Earth to have the biggest dinner of his life: German and Italian, I would not be surprised if she wanted Ciel's safety above all else.

Hell, I think Ciel would benefit greatly from this development. One particular possible scene is where Ciel is losing his shit (Pardon my French, apologies Pip) and Integra hugs him. As Ciel struggles, Integra tells him that she understands what he's thinking, but true strength is not being able to do things your own; it's knowing when you can accept help. She tells the boy she is there for him. He then breaks down into tears and hugs her back. Grell-damn it, I'm welling up!
Ahem, well. Afterwards, Ciel does become more content. Able to come off less of a brat and able to actually be happy. Even actually makes an effort to have fun!

The only thing I can think of left, is our butler to die for. It would be interesting to see Grell's conflict over Alucard: Sure, he's as good looking as "Bassy", but Gell'd also be terrified of Alucard. Not surprising, considering the No-Life King

Fascinating. I wonder how the Undertaker and Iscariot would fit into this. I suppose it's better to not have Sebastian around; his duels with Alucard would anniliate half the country, while poor Walter would feel like he's been replaced by a younger and hotter butler(maybe that's why he joined Millinium).
Side note: I am the only one who thinks that Integra could be Ciel's great-great-great-granddaughter? Both families defend England from the supernatural, so it's not unlikely that the Phantomhives and the Hellsings intermarried at some point.

It is still a possibility. My headcanon is that Ciel was going to be adopted before the events that lead to his deal with Sebastian. Sebastian does serve Integra, only because Ciel ordered it so. As for Alucard, he still serves Integra, but sees Ciel as that one annoying puppy: loud, annoying, but harmless.
Alucard and Sebastian have a very simple yet complex relationship. It is evident they have met some time ago, but aren't really willing to reveal how. Elizabeth, Grell or whoever can joke that they're related as they look similar

Oddly enough I can see that. I can imagine they will find a lot in common with each other.
