A collaboration by my DA sister, Khuzay and me.
Sorry Khu! This is what happens when I'm really ill, half dead asleep at night, sneezing on the monitor screen 19 times in an hour, and basically lost touch in my linearting skills when I was doing this. XD! But the picture was so lovely and I couldn't wait to finish it, but I ruined it T__T! Noo! DX ... I still hope you will like it. Oh it's like my first time trying to paint a background and I don't think this background would be your liking.... DX DX DX ... crapp Where did Athrun's body go!?!? I didn't notice that he had on until AFTER I did the colouring-- @)R)#*%#$()*%#($%*$(#*+%$#) !!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO XDDDDDD

I LOVE this, Lacus and Meer, my two FAVORITE GS/D characters. The colouring is amazing, and just... ;-;
Meer's waist is a little off, but yeah. Once again, I LOVE this ;-;.

anywaya, i accidently pressed a button and my message disappeared.. -__-
i refine my shading after each stroke, it doesn't always come out like in my pic-- i had to edit it, all the time
for instance (in photoshop/oc)
layer 3 = darker shading of hair (for small areas but is blocked by complete light.. well not really .. 90% of light is blocked, u could still see that the colour is related to blue.. pink.. etc..)
layer 2 = shading (after each stroke, at the edges, use the erase button and make the ends more sharper and less bulky. that's my main key to making my shading more .. accurate)
layer 1 = primary colour (lock the layer/preserve transpency and use highlight tool (10% opacity) use it every in neccessary cases.. then take the smudge tool and go up and down (for sharper ends during smudging, use a smaller smudge brush) and gently stroke it.. up and down.. dun go too fast..
after you dun it all
lock/preserve layer two and get a darker colour and gently spread it onto the lighter shaded areas to give it a more bold and depth impression.
then-- merge them and erase the outsides--
but i do a different way for erasing
i use the primary layer, erase it, then when making the other layers on top, I SELECT the pixeled parts of the primary layer by.. holding ctrl + aiming at the lil image box thingy in the layer box-- (photoshop only) then it'll select the coloured primary colours from a different layer-- so then u dun have to erase over and over or miss spots! ..!! easier and faster-- hm.. i wish i can show it to you much more clearier.. for u.. but... can't.. dun know where u live even so, u dun have PS..

Even though you forgot to do the rest of Athrun, it looks like it's supposed to be like that since there's that ribbon there. The colouring is really awesome, I don't see a problem with it at all!
