DONE BY WATER COLOURS ON A 9" by 6" PAPERSeriously, it looks better in real life... i hate the scanner :< ........
I bought the REAL dvds of the anime... and the translator is retarded because he/she type in the names of the characters in mandarin...
MANDARIN.......... OMFG..................... (no offense to u mandarin folks out there, lmao)
I would prefere the friggin original japanese names =__=;;
anywho, i think i have narcolepsy DX ...... *dies from excessive sleep attacks*
anyway, anyone interested in having a gathering of a ouran high school host club cosplay group or a gakuen heaven cosplay group at Anime North 2007...... please read my journal!! READ IT, NOW........ Obviously not cosplaying on the halloween event at anime north.. -_-'

actually if you wanna get all nitty gritty on technicalities, people are commenting on the use of water colours, NOT the originality of the character. although i can understand your point on reference aid, if i were chopaface, i'd be rather offended that your comment suggests that i ripped off the creator. the fact that she gives credit to the original creators in the description of all her pieces is more than what most artists do (including myself). honestly, your critisism would be better used on the artists who just make minor tweaks on anime pictures and upload them as their own.

I don't mention a lot of things in my writing, because for one thing it is not necessary. This picture is the cover of the dvd that I have. I took it and redid it to test the watercolours on the paper so I could then use it on my art project (not this).
Really, I don't see a rule that every artist must say that they used a reference or not. It's like everyone needs to know. I don't think so. It's a picture.

I only did this to test the water colours on the paper that was meant for an art project. because I was so proud of what I've done (because I usually get carried awya) I might as well post it
so please, it's not cheating, and it's not really imaginative, I can tell from the bottom of my heart, but rather what I used and what I did matters most to me.
im trying to be responsibly mature as possible, don't make this hard on me. I get angry quickly and tend to strike my enemy quick (if you don't remember from the last time we had a fight) however, I am trying to change my ways.
