The answer is No. Derpy, you survived the...incident arround season 2 and 3, and as long as there is people rewatching the show, maybe once, or twice, even more, people does draws or even going with the comparsions of G5, you will remain. Maybe even in those anniversaries rereleases when you appear again, for one thing you are there among the flagship characters of the show. hope. even if all of humanity ending and not even a isngle pony toy existed, pony happened, and nothing can erase that.
lotta people, largely trolls, are like 'these characters are gonna die when the show ends'. while A fictional characters, they are a known property and will be referenced again and again trhoughout time and lieklyΒ the series will get remade again and again. perhaps to pony detriment but people will piont people to the 'version of pony a coupla years back' when referencing someting worth watching.
also fanfiction and fanart. people creating their own stories, whether keeping them in their head or writing them down for others.
also we don't entriely know if the current iteratoin will end at season 9. yes there was the leak indicating it, but at the same time we don't know how they schedule things. four years ago it was stated that it would end at season nine, true. may be by 2019 they looked at the numbahs and were like 'you know what, let's add another season before we move on.'
or maybe they alreayd looked at them in a private meeting and were like 'yea we can't stop it just yet'
