Another abstract picture and its now that i think im beggining to get some where here.
Not just some visual effects, this picture actually proved be more time consuming than it probably would have been. With the basic layout of the shape then the effetcs, along with the crucial radial blur, this was the result. With the picture i intended on giving the veiwer the impression they are moving at an extreme speed. Perhaps a long a highway, a busy street or maybe even such things as a worm hole. Hope you like it, and provide me with some good critisism . . .

I like your idea, a lot. And your image [i]does[/i] communicate that "running real fast" feeling.
But (personnally) I'd like it better if there were more "definite" shapes. If you could barely tell that "ooh, there must be a neon sign, there, and a streetlight, and backlights from other cars!" and so on. You know, if it was more recognizable as a real photograph that someone moving real fast could have taken.
I'd love to see that if you ever try this again.

Well i have recently adopted a really useful airbrushing technique, so now that you say it i really like the idea, which i would have never considered anyways. Keep a look out (i mite note ya) and i tell ya if I do it, hope you like it when im done

Wow, nice idea.. twirling it and giving it a noticeable contrast to the radial blur. I never thought of doing something like that.
Ahh and the colours are so nice once again =/
1 thing that might help ya - the radial blur created a slight pixelation especially noticeable on the corners of the pic. u can get rid of it by applying a guassian blur or using the blur/smudge tools.
