Description Rapunzel, by the Brothers Grimm. The first of a series of I'm hoping at least 3. I've been reading my Fairy Tale anthology and it has inspired me to illustrate posters for the fairy tales

i like this a lot. I've been contemplating a series of paintings that hint at fairytales, like a big forest with a small red riding hood, or a huge city with a small silhouette of peter pan? *peeks around your gallery*

Can't tell you how wonderful this is. I really enjoy how simple, yet exotically Renaissance this is. The light from yellow to light orange is a nice touch to show a spotlight on Rapunzel's face.

Haha thank you! While I love Tangled. I don't think it has the same feeling to me as the story. I know it was not supposed to be an exact retelling, but Tangled I kind of feel is a whole different story!

I'm in love with the braid. It's all so simple looking but extremely detailed at the same time (without overwhelming it all or one thing taking away from the other). You have mad skills m'dear.
