It turns out that I can draw pretty well while riding in a van going 65 on the highway. But it's not the best sketch I've ever done. Please comment

Well I don't think you're weird at all!!! But people would think I was weird too if they found out I was into anime haha XD Are you good at real art? I respect cartoon art a lot! Do you know how hard it is to draw in jimmy two-shoes style? It really bugs me whenever I try to draw it...plus you've added so many more details and shading into it that it looks beyond professional!

Actually I think I would have more friends if I was into anime. But it's just so hard to draw and to follow if I'm watching it
I've been told I'm pretty good, some of my paintings and one of my favorite drawings are on here.
I will admit that the style takes some time to master, even I haven't mastered it yet. But it helps if you look for small details and repeating designs and features.
And I've just always shaded my work so it's a natural urge.

I always try to find ways to trace, if I can't then I draw by hand.

Well when you're spending 12 hours in a van with 4 guys that find you annoying and weird, you need to make sure that you have things to keep you occupied. My sketchbook and my ipod with JTS episodes on it were a must XD

Wow 12 hours on the road? Now that's another story. I think I would start drawing too at that point, if I have a sketchbook. Athough now I carry three devices everywhere with me: my 3rd and 4th gen iPod Touch and my Android phone, all three containing JTS episodes, and that's definitely enough for me, if not more than enough. xD

Well we were going from Connecticut to West Virginia, that tends to take a while even without the traffic. XD But I don't really need my phone for anything, I don't get the internet on it, no one texts me, and I have issues and don't like starting conversations. So my tiny 3rd gen ipod nano, sketch book, and a couple of pencils are my friends

Dude I hope I won't ever have to travel that far. The most I've traveled is from Miami to Orlando which is only 3 hours. xD
Yeah I hardly get text messages either but I do receive data coverage but too bad AT&T doesn't offer unlimited data. I might switch to T-Mobile or Sprint just for that. Either way I have a 16gb SD card installed on my phone so if I want I can add the complete first season of JTS in there.

Wel I have to do the same trip again this summer, only this time we're going to a different part of WV. Anyway, my carrier is Sprint. And my stupid little Samsung Reclaim only has one upside, it's eco-friendly (40% is corn fibers) I wish I could get all the episodes, but I don't know how to get episodes other than off itunes. :/

Anyway I have an HTC Aria phone and it's definitely a more reliable and affordable alternative to an iPhone 4. What's cool is there's an app that lets me download YouTube videos straight to my phone. The only problem is, it uses up a lot of data in the process, so wifi is a must.

I wish I could do something like that, but since I just got a laptop, I've been doing nothing except watching JTS. The only thing I really want to figure out how to do is to turn my phone into a mini-modem so I can go on the internet while on the road. My uncle was telling me about it, but we haven't figured it out yet.

Well I know there's an app for Android that can turn your phone into a USB tether or modem called PdaNet, but I can't find it in the Android Market cause I think the problem is I have AT&T.
My cousin showed it to me once and it's pretty cool. I think there is a way for your phone to perform USB tethering. But if you have an Android phone it would be so much easier by just downloading the app, or since you have Sprint, I think their latest phones include built-in hotspots, which is awesome.
