Description
White gouache pen and coloured pencils on black a4 paperWell this was an experimental piece that actually failed miserably. The pencils I had just made the outline I spent hours on go waxy and shiny and zero colour showed up. So I used the white pen to create a kind of monotone homage to what it should have been.
I have tried other pencils on here buying think pastel is the only good source and that's messy and fragile and not goin in my work bag. Alas black backgrounds may not happen for a while.
Any advise on this would be awesome BTW!!

Have thought about trying black backgrounds.... maybe oil paint??? Probably do a great job on something like that.

Maybe, that's even harder to take to work with me though. Lol.
The black just seems to wash the color out of everything except the white gel pens... Which is great because on white paper the white gel pen never shows up over anything else!!! I think i need a decent tip x pen, but they all seem to dry up or just give huge splodges instead of steady lines
These are real problems.... Forget everyone trying to poke Russia into world War 3 we need to divert our attention to the important things!!!

Lol... i get it. Ya... not the background that is user friendly for a travel bag. Iβd love to get into black background stuff... but itβll have to be a home project for me.
Fingers crossed a red nuke doesnβt drop in my living room while iβm at it.
