So i'm a fan of Sonic The Hedgehog: The Movie (or Sonic The Hedgehog OVA as many people call it). It was one of my favorite movies as a kid and it still is. Want to read more of my thoughts on the Movie/Mini series then see my journal entry about it.

Sonic The Hedgehog: The Movie OVA 20th Anniversary!Warning Spoilers ahead!
Well... the movie has been out for twenty years now so does it matter?
So it's officially been 20 years since the Sonic The Hedgehog OVA was released in japan on may 31st 1996, however it was eventually released in North America in 1999 (the same year Sonic Adventure was released in North America). So growing up I was introduced to the sonic series through Sonic Advance 2 at a friend's house, however Sonic X was what got me interested in Sonic The Hedgehog. My mom started buying me sonic VHS tapes of The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog and eventually Sonic The Hedgehog (SatAM). I prefered to watch The Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog more than SatAM for some reason, I just was never really attached to the SatAM tv show like many other people were. I also watched Sonic X whenever a new DVD would come out or if I was lucky enough to wake up early enough to catch an episode on FoxBox which eventually got renamed to 4K!ds TV. I was also int

I was originally going to have Metal Robotnik in this but I think he was too complicated for me. I considered Sara but then I decided to just stick with the traditional Sonic characters who appeared in the movie.

This is officially the first time i've ever drawn Knuckles, Metal Sonic, and Dr. Eggman. (Also in the Same Drawing). Tails kinda looks a bit off. I tried to match the art style of the OVA.
