So here it is coloured. Amano's colour schemes are quite plain, mostly pastels, well at least in his final fantasy work. This was just a quick digital colour on Ps. I think its a worthy enough tribute to one hell of an artist.Related content

This also remind his new style! Have you seen ? strong lines with plain colors with no gradients.And it's interesting because this color scheme and how you design the eyes also have an antique feeling! So it's modern but also retro!

yes later in his career he went to more traditional sumi-e styles. I like this most of all his work, I tried to copy his older style that he used for final fantasy [link] but I found it way too detailed for me to stay concentrated, I can be quite impatient with art haha I like the pastel colours, I prefer them to the more brighter colours Ive used in the past.
