that is utterly fantastic! The entire scene is so active, you can't watch it without feeling the motion of the sea and the tentacles towards the ship..very wel ldone!

Love the improvements you made to this! Everything about this picture looks more dynamic - especially the foam around the tentacles and the ominous clouds. Even the Kraken has more character in this pic, simply by changing its eye. This may sound odd, but I also like how the sea and sky blur at some point. It was a detail I noticed in the previous pic and it is subtly carried into this one as well.

This has nice composition and rhythm between the sky, water and tentacles, awesome work! I kinda wish the water was more violent around the ship though.

Love the lighting and color palette. What I like most is the sheer mass of the water, coming in from the sides and around which demonstrates the size and strength of the Kraken. Also, great technique with the water and clouds. ^^
