Description
Godzilla doing battle against the air force. But unlike in the movie, it's going to take a lot more than a handful of missels to defeat the beast.Done in a combination of pencil and digital shading, with color done in photoshop.

You know, I used to think Zilla sucked, but after I watched a few episodes of the series on YouTube (I'm watching one now, BTW) I thought he looked pretty badass. For a cheap, low-value counterfeit kaiju, he sure knows how to kick ass.

But Zilla Senior is by no means a pushover. Hell, he even fights Godzilla at Honolulu in the IDW Rulers of Earth comics. In later comics, he helps Earth's Monsters defeat the Trilopod army.

EDIT: You really need to learn to let things go. G98 was what? 21 years ago? That's a loooooooooooooooooooooong time to still be mad at Zilla to the point of calling him a "joke" when he clearly is awesome as his own kaiju. If you really can't that 1998 stuff anymore, then you REALLY need to reevaluate your life and leave those who came to forgive/ appreciate Zilla be.

And 1933 Kong gets a pass? He got killed by mere bullets, which do absolutely nothing on Zilla.
In the anime Godzilla novel, they made Zilla one of the kaijus that is the most difficult to defeat thanks to his asexual reproduction: he overran France by laying eggs. And I already told you to let go of your hate because it's been 21 years for crying out loud!!! People like you are the reason why we can't have nice things, like getting Zilla to be in the Monsterverse, be a playable kaiju in a Godzilla game and having a new figure.
Bottom line: Zilla is awesome as his own kaiju, accept it.

OG King Kong isn't really a kaiju - the Toho Kong is, though.
And I really don't care about the anime trilogy, considering that it's, well, really bad.

I wish they bring the series back -_- and make more episodes 8D and maybe an actual animated movie!! sure Monster Wars was spliced together to make a sort of movie but I mean an actualy movie 8D AND A VIDEO GAME that doesn't suck and only for gameboy....D8 imagine a sort of sandbow world where you can run/swim around as Godzilla (the animated one) XD it'd be awesome.... sorry for the rant o,,o awesome pic!
