First watercolor assignment for my first college art class... 'beginning watercolors." the assignment was to paint birch trees... but that's not my thing.... so i put in a figure as well...watercolor on arches paper.

I love this so much. The figure is perfect, the trees are very well done and add contrast to the other shadows in this painting. This is beautiful.

college is interesting... let's just say that i have someone in every class that keeps me entertained. it's okay so far i suppose. i have an argumentative paper due tuesday though, and I'm still not so sure of what to write about :S

Sounds like fun! I think that we have teacher loans similar to that down south. College in Alaska would surely be very different from college in SC though

haha. very very different. : D. I was going to attend Bob Jones University in SC, but then I became a senior in high school and realized i need $--and to stay out of debt

I think that I will major in graphic design, but that's not set in stone yet of course
