He is the boss of the team. If not for him Albert and Alex would grow up to be normal people and no of the things which happened in RE would've ever happened.

Actually if you think about it, Spencer was the start of everything in RE.

I will take my time to focus on him too ! I never had any consideration for him, until my eyes "decided" it was him on the teaser.
This is where i started to realize how important he was for the serie

Yeah, I know. Spencer is easy to forget about, since he's mostly a background character. His role in RE is to antagonize other antagonists, since none of the protagonists ever met him. He is mostly a problem for other RE bad guys.

Spencer surely had difficult to make some friends lol
But i wish so much to see him and Alex, the scenes could only be interesting. As a flashback or something like
a tape. If you see the whole thing :
- Re5 = wesker / spencer in a flashback + some details which leaded capcom to make the story of rev2
- Re7 could have : alex / spencer in a flashback
What i see is not only similarities, but the fact that capcom could be actually working on the Wesker's story.
Re6 : they got lost and didn't know what to do. So they made rev because the fans asked for something better in gameplay, etc.
The heroes were there, the gameplay was nice, but the vilains and story were bad xD
So they probably started to think on a focus about the Wesker family after this

After seeing the demo and how it works with "flashbacks" in this game, it's very possible to make something interesting like this. I just hope Capcom really does that.
