Description
Though the description within says it all, this is weapon that was used by the Kingdom during the Great War as a service rifle similar to how weapons like the Lee-Enfield were used during World War I, though it was much more effective in terms of the size of its round and how far away one could use it. I like the idea of a side-loading bolt action rifle, though I changed it up by having the magazine feed from the same direction as its ejection. The user would need to take their hand off the trigger to load it, though I suppose it could be flipped and the left can be used as well.

It's designed a typical bolt action weapon where the operator pulls the handle up and out, though originally I wanted the Pattern 9 to be a straight-pull bolt rifle, much like the much loathed Ross Rifle fielded by Canadians during WWI.

In CC, the weapon is still used after almost twenty years following the conclusion of the war, though like almost everything, it's aged and effective, possibly being in service for much longer than stated.
