This was done for 's Sirensong Competition . Not much to explain here...this is just the idea that popped in my head after reading her beautiful poem "Sirensong " which is what the theme of this contest was based on. Hope you all like it

Congratulations on second place! I love the overall mood here. Great job on the details.The lighting is done very well.The contrast between the soft mermaid and the rough background along with the lighting pulls ones eyes to the subject where it belongs. Very nice work and again, congratulations.
