Hey guys, for Spooktober I decided to use this meme where I show you those characters that I personally find the most terrifying.

Homelander (The Boys) - Homelander cemented himself as one of the vilest villains in comics through his numerous despicable acts throughout The Boys comic book series. The most powerful Supe in his universe, Homelander, is adored by the public, who believes he represents everything great about being a hero and America. However, behind closed doors, Homelander is a monster. He kills people because he can, abuses, and plays mind games with his fellow members of The Seven, and his desire to be loved has turned him into a downright despicable person. Antony Starr, who portrays Homelander in the live-action adaptation of The Boys, has been remarkable in the role, as he plays the irredeemable Homelander with a sinister edge, as viewers never know what he's thinking or what he'll do next.

Zoom (The Flash) - The entire main cast, several cops, and probably most of Central City to the list of people who are terrified of Zoom. Even his own metahuman henchmen are terrified of him. It only takes Zoom showing up to make anyone cower in terror. On his earth, people lived in such sheer fear of him that the police didn't even bother opposing him.

Asmodeus Poisonteeth (Redwall) - I found him horrifying as a kid. O-O Asmodeus was incredibly dangerous, often embarking on silent hunts in Mossflower Woods and surprising creatures who were secreted in the same hiding place as he, which made him dreaded by all. The way he talked to his victims by saying "I will show you eternity." and hypnotized them before swallowing them whole made him pretty scary and violent for a kid's show.

Muzan Kibutsuji (Demon Slayer) Muzan is the main antagonist of Demon Slayer. He is the Demon King, the first of his kind, as well as the progenitor of all other demons in existence. Muzan is also the leader of the Twelve Kizuki, an organization of the twelve strongest demons in existence that serve directly under him. Muzan is cold-hearted, ruthless, intimidating, and exceptionally intelligent. He sees no value in any humans he has encountered and shows little value in his own subordinates. Rarely ever visually upset or happy, he appears completely monotone and detached on most occasions, even when he callously murders his own subordinates. In the anime, his expressions change slightly and his tone of voice tends to be consistent at nearly all times, accentuating his monotonous demeanor. His cruel and imposing nature has gained him the great admiration and fear of many demons.

Constance Nebbercracker (Monster House) - Another childhood fear of mine. XD She was a human performing as a "circus freak" in a zoo until Horace Nebbercracker married her and settled on a land plot. During the construction of their house, her untimely death occurred, after which she took possession of the house, which developed monster-like characteristics. During Halloween season she lured trick-or-treating children into the house in order to devour them! O-O Scary and upsetting at the same time.

Eclipso (Stargirl) - Eclipso is a life essence trapped inside of a black diamond. He is an ancient entity of corruption and vengeance. Brimming with a cold, terrifying darkness, he exploits the flaws of others, reveling in the impure and sinful, sadistically feeding off the dark side of humanity.

Morgoth (The Lord of the Rings) - I originally wanted to add Sauron for this list since he's the big bad of The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies, but then a friend of mine told me about Morgoth, The First Dark Lord of Middle-Earth and Sauron's master, just look at what Morgoth did!

Vecna (Stranger Things) - He is my new favorite. The big bad of Stranger Things season 4 is a humanoid monster with black skin and movable vines that protrude from his entire body. While he lives in the Upside Down, Vecna can psychically reach into the human world, kind of like the Mind Flayer's connection with Will. He makes his presence known in Hawkins by murdering the town's teenagers in a truly gruesome fashion, all through mental connections (which is especially terrifying).

Wilson Fisk A.K.A. Kingpin (Netflix's Daredevil) - You thought Thanos is the scariest MCU villain out there? If so, then let me tell you that Marvel's most terrifying villain isn't in the Movies. It's in Netflix's Daredevil TV Show, and his name is Wilson Fisk A.K.A. Kingpin. The criminal underworld doesn't even say his name. He exists as a legend, a boogeyman, someone who sees everything and pulls all the strings. The audience learns he's a scary guy with almost supernatural control over the streets.When a random thug gives Matt Murdock the name "Wilson Fisk," his immediate and unthinking impulse is to kill himself in the worst way possible. Headbanging your way onto a metal spike is more tolerable than whatever the Kingpin will do to him, after all. Which says a lot about him if you ask me.

Spinosaurus (Jurassic Park 3) - The Spinosaurus's personality is akin to typical persistent carnivorous movie monsters with a taste of human flesh. Apparently, upon discovering a newfound taste of human flesh, the theropod immediately goes after Alan and co. once Amanda recklessy used a loudspeaker in his habitat where her actions were meant to attract Ben and Eric's attention. It goes so far in its pursuit that it even stalks them wherever they go! If that doesn't make him scary enough he even managed to kill a T-Rex! A T-rex!! That moment might be controversial for some, but for me it made the Spinosaurus the new king of dinosaurs as a kid. ^^
