Imagine if Count Dracula was in the show Once Upon a Time, what would happen if he gets to know about those who inhabited the powers of Darkness called The Dark Ones.
Dracula would want that power for himself!
So he starts looking after Rumplestiltskin, the current Dark One, and when they encounter Dracula manages to defeat him and taking his dagger, thus inheriting his powers and becoming a Dark One!
