Work in progress.Cant get enough of the MIUI look recently so knocked up some MIUI widgetlocker sliders taken straight from some MIUI themes. Cant decide which one to stick with, so switching between the two.
Ive started to mod an .apk widget to create the battery bar line, but its a very long way from perfect and very crude. I'm tempted to build my own widget from scratch, depending if I have the time.
THE SAME MIUI BATTERY BAR EFFECT CAN BE ACHIEVED USING THE CHRONOTOPIA APP [link] SO I AM NO LONGER WORKING ON A BATTERY BAR WIDGET.
Settings for batterybar here. Extract the .zip and place in com.marooned.chronotopia folder on your SD-card. [link]

Just a piece of question: How do you make the battery bar work? I can't figure out the Chronotopia app. Is it also connected to the battery performance? I have a 480x854 resolution on a 9x9 WidgetLocker screen.

Import the theme in the download (not sure how as never done it tbh..)
Insert a chronotopia widget, and select said theme.
It displayed the battery's remaining charge, that's all.

I'd love to see you create the battery bar widget. I can't figure how to with Chronotopia. If you do end up making it, is there any chance I could get the source code? I want to make my own widgets, but I have no idea how.

Well if I am honest, I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I didnt 'make' the widget in the screens, all I did was edit image files of someone else's app, so they did all the hard work, that is why I am reluctant to share it, as well as it looks pretty crap...
I had a little go at trying to create my own app, but didn't get very far as my coding skills are some what poor at best, and I have very little experience.
I will try to find my Chronotopia settings for the batterybar, they should be somewhere be my sd still.

How did you manage to edit the .apk? Or was the image stored somewhere on the device? And that makes sense. I'm glad you feel that way. And I look forward to getting your settings for battery bar.

Decomplied it using apk_manager, had a play, the complied and signed it back up.
However as I only did a like for like swap of the images, it probably could have been done just using winRAR and dragging and dropping the new images straight in to the apk.

I like how stock status bar looks. Something I cannot achive with MIUI, or maybe I was not looking good enough. ) Can you point me in right direction?
