(sorry up-front for enabling the watermark; normally I don't worry about people stealing my work, but it seems to happen a fair bit with the Predator art.)

It was recently brought to my attention that I've gone almost a whole year, maybe more even, without drawing a single Alien or Predator. The reason for that was that I was getting too well-known for it, and the situation became not unlike that of a cover band setting out to prove that they can do more than just that gig. Did I succeed? I dunno. Prob'ly not -- But I've made the point to myself at least, and can stop avoiding the AvP franchise. I still don't want it to dominate my output like it used to though.

Considering how long it's been, I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.

Anyway -- 11"x17" on Bristol board. 2B pencil used on the Pred's face; 8B for the rest when I used that up. Look for this and other funky stuff in my portfolio at the Capstone Connection tables in the Chicago and Dallas comic-cons!
