Not one thing can ever make me cry the most, save for the final moments we have with Godzilla, in Godzilla Vs. Destroyah.The death scene in this one always gets to me. And for some reason, I got to thinking of that terrible scene, and wanted to add a few pictures of it. like this one.
Godzilla: Am... am I... dying?
That's what I think he would be saying, if he could.
But in the end, I can't even look at one of these pictures without tearing up. It was just so sad to see him go...
To top it off, I'm listening to Tourniquet by Evanescence. So yea, it really apps up the sadness level.
Of course, I don't own the pictures, nor do I own the great and mighty King of the Monsters.
Godzilla is owned by Toho, and all that. Tourniquet is owned by Evanescence. Just... yea, I just felt like putting these in.
And now I'm off to bawl my eyes out...

I think Godzilla knew his time was up throughout most of "Godzilla vs. Destroyer." In the Japanese dialogue (not sure about the dub), they say that Godzilla knows something is wrong with him and he's headed for that nuclear power plant in the Bungo Channel to replace the messed up energy within himself (of course, in the name of stopping destruction, they freeze Godzilla before he can attempt this). And at the end of the fight after Destroyer is dead, Godzilla makes sure to move back to the position of Junior's corpse before meltdown began so that his energy will revive him just as the atomic bomb had done to him as a Godzillasaurus all those years ago on Lagos Island.

(Chris) Yea. That's all so true and all. That's why even to this day, I can't watch this movie without crying at the end seeing the Big G meltdown and all. So yea...
