~Dragon Ball XV - Part 11: Conflicts of Perfection~
After dominating in battle, the ascended Elery has clearly proven himself superior to Semi-Perfect Cell. Yet... she finds no desire within her to kill the android and prevent him from reaching perfection. As she coldly gazes at the nervous Semi-Perfect Cell, deathly silent...

Finally, the Saiyaness parts her lips... and begins to speak.

"Cell... you honestly believe absorbing the Androids will make you stronger? Look at you... programmed by Dr. Gero to absorb other beings and claim their power. Yet... that's nowhere close to real, honest perfection...

TRUE perfection is not even possible, not unless... you're a god."

Elery then briefly explains then and there of beings known... as 'Gods of Destruction.'. Even Cell would be no match, perfect form or not, against one of these beings, for their very purpose was to destroy things, namely unstable planets to clean up the galaxy and make way for newer, cleaner ones. To that end, Elery quotes one line that made these powerful deities famous. Or rather, infamous...

"Before Creation... comes Destruction."

Elery then briefly gives off a different type of aura, and Semi-Perfect Cell quickly realizes... SHE HERSELF has the power of a god! (Of course, this being her Super Saiyan Blue power, which is Super Saiyan God turned Super Saiyan at that). Piccolo himself is silent throughout all this, as he already knows from his student about Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7, said universe being similar in contrast to their own here.

Elery finally then turns, dropping out of her Super Saiyan 2 form, and calmly speaks to Semi-Perfect Cell one last time, claiming that even if he did absorb Android 18 and reached his 'perfect form', she could destroy him in seconds with such godly strength she so briefly showed. Instead, she was willing to see to it Cell reached his perfect form, to see if he could provide more of a challenge for her. And with that, she turns to Piccolo and proclaims they take their leave, when in reality she and her master hide themselves from sight and conceal their energy. Semi-Perfect Cell, watching them go, and now more desperate than ever to absorb Android 18, flies off to find her.

While concealing their energy signatures, Elery stands beside Piccolo as they watch Semi-Perfect Cell fly away. Piccolo turns to address his student, asking her if Cell achieving his perfect form also happens in Universe 7. Elery confirms this with a nod, briefly telling of the timeline that involved the Cell Games, which Piccolo then remembers now as he and her both came to that point in time once to stop a separate Android 17 and Android 18, along with a new android, Android 13, from killing Perfect Cell (AKA the time period in Elery's Time Patrols they teamed up to stop the changes in history caused by Dabura and Fu). Thus, Elery nods, saying it's for the best that they allow the next chain of events to happen...
