Dr. Curi is an evil Tuffle scientist from Universe 20, having survived the genocide of her people, Universe 20's Tuffles, at the hands of the otherwise peacekeeper Saiyans of Universe 20. It was especially where she first saw Elery and Celleri's father, Bokcho, be among the Saiyans that had no choice but to destroy the space pirate's way of life. But surviving the genocide, Curi would form a vast army of Saiyan Terminators, powerful android that ether were human sized and resembled Frieza and his kin, or giants that resembled Namekians in their Become Giant forms.

Her name comes directly (From looking up curi online in a Google search) from the curry tree, Murraya koenigii or Bergera koenigii, a tropical and sub-tropical tree in the family Rutaceae, native to Asia.
