Actually, it's very old, i mean really old... like 3 months or so...Technical info:
Photoshop.. 8 hours as far as i remember. Couple of layers, obviously...
actually, almost everything was made still with a mouse, just the ships and those burning flying thingies are new so were painted with a tablet.

Reminds me of too many epic Sci Fi games and movies to count. The contrast of colour is really drawing, and the textures on the explosion and clouds are very well done.
