Oh well,a ship/structure built around a sun.
it's not really a circle, which might explain the weird shape and perspective (excuses, excuses xD)
but anyway, hope you like it

I dont think this is a harsh critique,
i agree on most of the points especially on the lack of description, i probably could cover the most confusing things like the shape and purpose of the structure as well as explaining the concept better and some other things.
But the reason why i'm not writing long descriptions is because it's not a piece of literature, if i fail to retell my idea with the image itself then i dont want to correct the flaws in the artwork with words. Someday i want to be able to say everything with the picture alone, and i'm trying to practice that as much as i can.
But in any case, that doesnt mean your critique is incorrect or anything like that.

This reminds me of a concept for an interstellar or even intergalactic spacecraft involving grazers; gamma ray lasers directed at the star would cause gas to escape from its surface, propelling the sun (and with it, any objects orbiting it - including the spaceship and accompanying solar system) in the opposite direction. This structure seems quite a bit more massive than the star, but such a means of propulsion should remain viable for moving it wherever needed, if perhaps a bit more slowly. I don't see that this will pose a problem - so long as the star shines, the inhabitants will be comfortable.
The idea of a vessel of such size for any purpose is intimidating, even if the inhabitants are benevolent...

Awe-inspiring. I really like the imagery of a hydrogen explosion being protectively cradled and carefully harvested for the energy and matter it gives off.

weel, who knows if someday our race or someone, might find a material capable of resisting or more, gather the wasted energy of the Sun. After all, it looked to me like a fusion chamber, built in space due to his high instability, but with the necessary structure to gather that energy

Also, the shape of the ring most probably makes sense, considering a perfect ring around the sun could not move with it. You need some sort of bulge in it to keep it swinging around.
As for the heat of the sun, who cares? I can think of at least two ways to make those structures that probably don't work but sound plenty plausible.

I can imagine in the distant future our people would want to create artificial suns and possibly planets. Something like this would fit the idea.
