Hm... Β Β conceptually I like the idea of it, but I think if you somehow made the white skin on the dragon look more like ash rather than a white fleshy overgrowth, that would imply a better "temporarily snuffed out" kind of feel with the piece. Then he's just an angry smoldering ash dragon.

I don't like the light treatment on the dragon. Everything is great (dragon design too), but he just doesn't fit in with the picture. If you put him in silhouette like the moon, he would fit in better (but that just my inferior opinion).

Well, yeah, I agree that values and lighting should be different considering what's going on in the scene, but I decided this would be better than doing a darker silhouette. I don't know, I was probably too focused on making the dragon white (cause he's supposed to be the sun dragon or whatever) and ended up overdoing it
