What is it that makes your sketches look so finished while mine just look like sketches?

Might be because of density. i used a lot of repetitive shapes to block out my sketch, it doesn´t add more information per se, but it looks more packed and hardly takes more time once you get some practice with it.
That would be my guess, but you can link me a specific example of yours so i can compare it easier.
