Gaaaaaaaaaaah! this was hard!i don't think i would have the patience to do animation but must admit you learn alot about body movement!
hahah it's an improvement from my last stick figure animation XD
Found the flip thingy on youtube! there's no way i would be able to draw this without watching it alot!

clean? o.O as in not my normal overly sketchy style that you can't make out what it even is? hahaha thanks! full credit can't be taken! all i did was draw what i saw off a clip on youtube!

*claps* I've done very few animations, but still can't get anything to look smooth like this.

hmm i wouldn't call it smooth! but yea it's hard to figure out which parts you can try and cut out!

Will it's good enough for me to praise. What I mean by smooth is it looks like a full flip for a 13 frame flip. A non-smooth flip would be where the person is halfway done, then sticks the landing, like if you made frames 1-6, then it skips to frame 11-13, completely skipping a few frames.

I totally get the patience thing. At Freelance I hated how long and tedious it was to get out like 2 seconds of animation. But I definitely learned a lot about body movement - like you said. About weight and timing and things that helped with my drawing.
This looks pretty cool

yea! like i said i watched the exact same thing on a youtube clip and then drew it! without that i could have never done anything similar! but it helped alot and i had to keep thinking wat goes where! several times i drew the feet in the wrong direction and was just like this longs wrong o.O
it helped alot with centre of gravity and movement in general! but yea i don't think i'll ever be an animator! XD

Wow, that's awesome! O.O Wish I could draw that sort of thing! Tried creating an animation with my DSi's flipnote app and it was good concidering it was me who drew it. Truth be told, it's pretty much horrible compared to that!
Well done!

The best thing about it is that it's touch so it's kinda like drawing on paper. Too bad it's only got 3 colors to use

Oh really? 3 colours is a bit of a bumer! XD

Yeah I know... It's got black, blue and red, but it has different textures at least :/ And I accidentally found out that I can mix red and blue to get purple, black with red to get maroon and blue with black to get navy blue. But they don't help that much
Oh well, I can hardly manage just black, no need to worry for the rest of the colors
