Description
Here's my very amateurish practice at making fire. Anyone have any comments or suggestions? I'd like some help on this.I have yet to find a tutorial of any kind that's for the art program I use. >_> Most involve a tablet too, which I also don't have.
One problem with this method is that I don't think it matches well with the style I typically use, so I either have to change that or find a more cartoonish way to draw fire that looks good.

looks nice! But I'd have to agree that it doesn't particularly match your more cel-shaded style. I'm still learning fire myself, but I'd say find a more "cartoonish" way of doing it... I'm trying to do the same thing |D

Figures I'd find a tutorial on cel fire that requires a pen tool that I do not have. >:C
...Sorry, venting a little.

That's what I figured. I'll need to practice on that then, 'cause at the moment I'm terrible at drawing fire.
Maybe I could rewatch the Avatar: Last Airbender series and see how they do it, or something like that. There's a ton of fire on that show.
