that's beautiful...whenever I think of a waterfall I always seem to envision something very similar to this place hear that is photographed. Reminds me of a dream I once had...but wonderful shot!

Man, dad used to take us there for picnics when we were very young... that "long" walk from the car to the top of the falls... Damn this brings back some memories

May I ask how you achieve the sky/water effects like that? If the EXIF info is correct it is only 1/25 second which I didn't think would be long enough for that effect to occur?

It's actually 25 seconds. I used a 10-stop ND filter to get a long exposure during the day.

You'll have to forgive me - my knowledge of photographic things is a little lacking 10-stops I understand, those are F-stops, right? But ND filter?
Sorry for the dumb questions.

A neutral density (ND) filter reduces the amount of light going through the lens. They vary in strength, 3-stops is typical which reduces the amount of light 8 times, the one I had is 10-stops which reduces the light by 1000 times. See [link] for more details.

Dang... okay, I know what I will be buying when I go shopping for photographic equipment in the next couple of weeks. Much obliged for the information (and your patience)
