A "quick" 3d model of the Italian M13-40 (WW2) which I created for a Greek military magazine around 2008. Although it was published in this -render in black- form, it was also used as referrence and illustration basis for more complicated tank scenes in other projects with the Greek National Geographic/4pi publications.

It started as a test from the magazine publisher for my perception of 20th century industrial made armored vechickles because my main work was focused on ancient and medieval armies and machines at that time. I didn't had enough photos of the tank to calculate properly the three dimensions or experience in WW2 machinery,so I relied on my instinct to understand the proportions of the various parts of the vehicle and to build it piece by piece. I think M13-40 is a good piece for someone to start creating WW2 armored vehicles.

At that time (and for a variety of reasons), I was using the artistic alias "Grimaldi" instead of my real name signature as seen here properly.
