My Mass Effect N7 clock [link] turned into a skin for Windows 7 & Vista sidebar clock! It replaces the "cronometer" clock.*** You MUST be an administrator on your system and take ownership of the \images folder. Go to the following webpage for a quick & easy how-to on taking ownership: [link] ***
Directions:
1) Make sure you're not using the cronometer clock, if you are switch to a different one at this time.
2) Navigate to C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\Clock.Gadget\images & move EVERYTHING that starts with cronometer into a "backup" folder
2) unzip contents to C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\Gadgets\Clock.Gadget\images
3) Switch your clock and enjoy!
I may turn other clocks I've made into sidebar clocks in the future...

I would like to use this for my clock, but I'm getting access denied errors any time I try to access the folder to put this into, and it won't allow me to change permissions or ownership of the file. Is there some alternate way to do this?

Your account has to be an administrator. Have you tried the "take ownership" reg file fix I posted in the comments? I think I'm going to put that fix in the description.

If you're an administrator and you can't take ownership of the folder then I'm really not sure what to tell you. Sounds like you're not an administrator to me. It worked perfect on my two PCs.

I am the administrator I only have one account for this computer, that's why this whole ordeal is so frustrating. All well, thanks for your time anyway

You can also try killing the sidebar.exe process or taking ownership in safe mode.

When I try to move any of the cronometer files it says i need permission... also Im not sure how to switch clocks once the files are in the right place .... Do you know what could be wrong?

I really like your clock skin, but it doesn't fit with my Mass Effect Rainmeter skin. Maybe I'll see if I can build a Rainmeter skin around your clock. Would you be okay with that?
