Description been at this one for a while, dam face gave me hell. i did this one in black and white and then just added an over lay layer on top with some basic colours.

Great portrait! Great work, especially the shades on the mouth/nose. Personally I'm not sure about the composition though. For a fairly intimate portrait to me it seems the background is out of place thematically, as well being a bit too stark and rigid for the softness of the focus.

I like your style & your great with action drawings! great potential as an illustrator! What medium do you use, charcoal, pastel? I like the gothic, roman, warrior style drawings in particular as these with action, eg. sword fighting, battling on horse back or what ever action, think you have a real gift for this era & ambiance. You'd be a great fashion illustrator/cartoonist.
Your eyes are beautifully done! May I suggest to use the long sketch pad & paper. It works better for illustration & easier to fit the whole body on it! And loosen up, get freer. Hope you don't mind my critique!
