Description
btw, it's Andalgalá, but DA won't let me write it properly in the title...
"Andalgalornis was a genus of flightless predatory birds of the family Phorusrhacidae (often called "terror birds") that lived in Argentina during late Miocene - early Pliocene." (Wikipedia)

Blender, Sculptris, ZBrush, Photoshop.
The feathers were really, really hard to achieve. Not entirely what I expected, but at least a decent result given that it's my first time with fibermesh.
Inspired by this photomanipulation of a Shoebill.

Why the hell did I not comment on this earlier? It's splendid, the vengeance of the dinosaurs in South America!

Thank you!
Unfortunately, I do not have the time I would need to do the rest of the body.

Amazing! one of the most perfect feathering I've seen modeled in 3D, also the eyes and the skin surrounding them is so real! The only think I've got to criticize is the bill, but only because its relative simplicity kind of clashes with the practically real rest. Doesn't rest any awesome tho

Thank you very much!
At one point I was clueless when doing the beak, had to decide if extending or not the soft skin or adding color and display feathers all over the Lore close to the Cere as the seriemas, their closest relative. But at the end I made it vultur-ish, less flashy
