a WIP.This scene shows a Life Sphere deploying itself in a shield defense to protect the red maple (the most coveted of all the flora that is left on the planet)and the city, or what is left of it.. It will use its shield to completely surround the "Nova Weapon" and choke it into submission.. then the retraining and disarming can begin. Only one other Nova Weapon has ever been overcome prior to this encounter. This process is usually left for the captured Silver Dragon Ships or the Golden Spheres of the Calobos war machine... Now that this part of the Halcyon system has been breached the council of the Flat Planet will quickly meet and implement the Square Drive technology that has been recently discovered after coming into contact with the Quantum Mirrors .. Now Calobos and the fleets of war will meet their match for the first time in a very long history of destruction and death. Stay tuned~

No, they were from an old 50ies sci fi serie which was remade in the 80ies. Meat eatingvegetable-like beings.

This is an interesting shot....one that invokes a lot of contemplation. Reminds me of quite a few scifi books and movies and other possibilities...... hmmm. Will have to think on this one....

they are this size to show the scale of the trees in the orbs

It is kind of Scary, and reminds me of the day of 911 and the Twin Towers, because all the film was in color, but the world looked like a bomb had exploded and all the film was shades of black and white because of all the dust and debris. It's very eryie with destroyed high rises silhouetted against the moon, and the beam of light coming down from something above. It's different from Sin City (a movie I loved), and more like the world as we know it has been destroyed, and all the rules have been changed. The buildings are a little distorted, as is the light, and even the size and location of the moon. I guess we are not in Kansas anymore Toto? Very good and very different...Annie

thank you Annie, a few things here that are important...the tree in in scale to the orbs, i am trying to show just how big things are in my worlds (compared to earthly sizes)the light above is a mystery for now..and yes the buildings are distorted..this way and that way..
