Description
a WIP.This scene shows a Life Sphere deploying itself in a shield defense to protect the red maple (the most coveted of all the flora that is left on the planet)and the city, or what is left of it.. It will use its shield to completely surround the "Nova Weapon" and choke it into submission.. then the retraining and disarming can begin. Only one other Nova Weapon has ever been overcome prior to this encounter. This process is usually left for the captured Silver Dragon Ships or the Golden Spheres of the Calobos war machine... Now that this part of the Halcyon system has been breached the council of the Flat Planet will quickly meet and implement the Square Drive technology that has been recently discovered after coming into contact with the Quantum Mirrors .. Now Calobos and the fleets of war will meet their match for the first time in a very long history of destruction and death. Stay tuned~

Truly superb image, love the stark contrast and extreme range of the black to white and the shadows of the trees on the building below the moon. Personally I'd say leave it in BW, much punchier.

i decided to keep this one as the books page for that scene
and received some great comments on this one, it is only my second B/W render..
was not to sure about it,but it has great depth to it(and that is what 3d is all about)

Lovely, it has a kind of film-noir quality. Like and old 50ies SciFi. World of the war or smth. But more peaceful than those generally were.
