Why is the ocean texture so visibly tiled? It should really be seamless for best effect. And how come the texture is visible in the reflection of the sky? Otherwise, I like the concept.

Answer to question #1~ The surface is textured like this because I used a water effect on the ground that is best viewed when the camera angle is at the surface itself. (you cant see the quilted pattern at all when at that angle) It is the effect that I wanted for this render.
As far as seem-less, maybe you should look more closely at my gallery renders and see the other ground surfaces' I have created and you will see what I mean.
#2 The texture is not in the sky,,, You are seeing the refraction in the sphere because of the crystal material used for the orb (look closer next time)
