Then they would be hairless, and very cold. I think Emus would not like a power wash. I should draw more Emus, more people have said they help them relax, or just make them laugh. I am so happy you have so many views on Annie's Escape. That one rendering of yours has more views than my entire gallery I think. It's kind of incredible what inspires people to fave one thing over another. I like your latest one. It's so good, and so different. It looks like a battle, or some kind of push, pull, overwhelm kind of encounter, but it's so beautiful! It's amazing what kind of images you are able to create.

I had a great day power washing a roof section on a corner of a pretty busy area, so lots of free advertising..and many cards were also handed out.I am very sore tonight from scrubbing that roof for so long...4 hours..my shoulders are killing me

You are possessed by your work and your art. That is a very good thing. Keep working, buy the tools you need for both work and art, take care of yourself and rest when you need to. The problem with water or sand under pressure is the weight and psi is all on your hands, arms, shoulders, and back...then your legs have to transport you. I used to sand blast glass, fuse glass, or just stand and sculpt for 10 to 15 hours per day. It's why my body is kind of worn out now, and my knees are shot. I know just where the pain is in your shoulder blades and neck. Hot showers and those heat pain patches help. My brother who worked in concrete for years introduced me to those "slap on a pain patch and it will take the pain away!" It's also counter intuitive but push against a wall, and it feels good because who have been lifting, holding, and directing the pressure hose. The other thing that feels good is arm circling. Our bodies to these small repetitive work movements until we hurt all over. Arm circling small, medium, then large no pressure, no hurry helps your arms get some range of motion back and feels good. That's Annies advice for the evening to make your shoulders feel semi normal.

I took the hot shower and read a few pages and slept in the studio last night with the cat..(it is cold these last few eves)I have a 40 hour job this week basically booked mon-fri and they are 8 hour jobs...I will be very sore this week, but need the exercise.the 4 months of no really hard labor has made the strength wane from my fingers
