Something that took me....way too much time to complete otl. But here's a concept that me and z-AnoziraAshakage-z came up with 2 days ago. For right now its called Released SSJ4/RSSJ4, Ano is trying to find a name for it lel. But anyway, this form is ssj4's "true potential". SSJ4 was supposed to look like golden Oozaru but instead it was red fur and not gold. We tried to make sense of ssj4 and we thought of this explanation:

-Golden Oozaru is actually STRONGER than ssj4. The power of G-Oozaru is vast and formidable, coupled with the primal nature of the form, bystanders should be wary if the user cannot control it consciously. If they are able to however, and harness the raw power, they can then condense into a much more efficient form ergo, super saiyan 4.

-HOWEVER Ssj4 is thereby weaker than what it would eventually be. You see while still having strength above ssj3, ssj4 is the condensed version with condensed power. It gives the user perfect control without drawbacks like the third form, but lacks that raw power of an oozaru. The power is "locked" and the user will only experience bursts of it in regular ssj4.

-Released ssj4 is when its at its peak and when the raw power has been unlocked and released. The body can change into ways. It could get bulkier from the power being outputted or, it can be a tad slimmer from the power finally flowing out. But its most likely the latter. (Imagine broly in this form. Boi's arms would be fucking ridiculous lmao.) How to achieve this? Not sure will have to discuss it with Ano xDD Its still under works and not all rssj4's will look like this but this is a general look lel.

So yeah it goes GoldenOozaru > Ssj4
