I'm amazed at your art, man... where do you find your inspiration for all these Chinese temples??

They're all (well, mostly) based on real world buildings.

Awesome!Β
Do you take the picture off the Internet and distort them afterwards, then?
I have to say, every piece you post bewilders me! The colors and distortions are unreal...
By the way, thanks for answering! I was expecting you to be too busy to answer random comments

Sometimes, or I just make a simple 3d model of said building, distort and bash them, and then do an overpaint.

Ah. I have no idea how to do that myself, but I have seen it been done before.
Do you do video speedpaints of your stuff or give any tips somewhere?

I have always loved the symbolism of the phoenix, and this temple definitely evokes that symbolism within its' architecture! The landscape around the temple has a lush jungle-like quality to it that is both exotic and charming in the harmony it has going on with the temple and the elements. All of your paintings blend the elements well, especially earth, water, air, and fire. Such harmony is very unique, and always welcome in art like this!
