Description
The process of starship design is not straightforward. The past 57 years are awash with concepts for ships that were rejected. Some are reused as different ships. The Ambassador, for instance, was based on a concept design for the Galaxy, whilst it is common knowledge that the DSC variant of the Crossfield Class was based on a rejected Constitution concept.

Even when a design is accepted, its on-screen version may differ from the original brief. Indeed, the original, TOS Constitution design saw multiple on-screen revisions. When John Eaves was approach to once again redesign the famous ship, he provided the concept which eventually became what we saw onscreen. However, as one could imagine, changes were made before the final, onscreen, version emerged.

Here, I have tried to recreate John Eaves' original vision for the most recent version of the illustrious ship.
