I've been customizing my notebooks for 4 years now, and I love doing it! But since I started, I always wanted to use one notebook where I could change the cover whenever I want, and I finally found a solution in the begining of this year.
You see, this isn't 5 different notebooks, they are removable covers, I made 5 so I could choose one for each day of the week.
So we have two Pokemon covers, a Sylveon and an Umbreon, a Lapis Lazuli (I'm really proud of this one, my fave), Star's wand from STVFOE, and an little Annoying Dog from Undetale. And it was easier to make than I though.
I'll try my best at explaining how I made them. Pls bear with me.
So, I bought one of this cheaper notebooks without drawings on it's cover to customize. I got a normal white sheet of paper, that was bigger than the notebook cover and placed on top of the cover, making sure it was aligned with the wire spiral. The next step is folding in the leftover paper like this . And that's it, now the paper will stay in place and you can remove it whenever.
Now about the art in the covers. First I drew in the white paper after it was folded so I could see better where the drawing would be placed, then I started giving it life by cutting little squares from magazine pages and gluing them in the right place. I know it looks like takes a long time to finish, but each one didn't took more than one day to make.
To give it a finishing touch to make sure it won't get dirty or that the little squares won't come out you can wrap each cover on adhesive plastic, or, like I did, buy a removable plastic cover (you can see it on the Sylveon notebook).
I took this pictures after one whole year of using them, and they are still in pretty good shape.
