We got an oc! His name is Aurum Vile and he's fab!We needed a villain for the fic, of course. Probably not hard to guess the character he was based on.

I don't know why, but when I first read his entry in the story, I pictured him as a pudgy fat guy in a purple velvet suit. I like this look too, not gonna lie, lol.

Oh yea, in the very very early stages of planning the villain of the fic, my co-author and I also just had the image of a generic fat greedy guy in mind lmao. But then we started thinking of what existing character we could base him on, then we thought of Cruella Deville, then we were just "oh now we have to make him fab!". So Aurum ended up like that! sdkjfkj

But now that I'm thinking about it, I kinda want to imagine that the pudgy man in a purple velvet suit is actually Aurum's Stylist, and Jaune attacks him for making him wear such ridiculous clothes, and then Aurum just turns up his nose at Jaune and then goes: "Ugh! Take him away! I don't want to hear anything about him until he improves!"
