Description
An old iron fence surrounds the ground
Where stones of the dead are standing around
Over time mother nature has hidden this site
Hidden among trees in very low light

Thickets and vines smother the homes
Of the people who lie hidden under the stones
Men, Women and children are all lying here
But time sheds their names as days become years

And as they were lain to rest in this ground
It absorbed many tears and absorbed the sound
Of the crying of the many loved ones that were there
And the memories of them, the love and the care

This dark quiet spot that meant so much to so many
Is now no longer remembered by any
These people that lived here so long ago
And the descendants of them that now do not know

Of them, or about them, or where they are lain
So long ago by loved ones in pain
Their memories could perhaps bring a smile to their face
From a simpler time to this time of fast pace
