Cool trick. The body of the wide angle lens adds a good frame work for the photo, and you get the the full benefit of the wide angle effect, plus some exageration. looks great.

Thanks for the feedback . I was just experimenting here. I wish i had the editing skills to remove the reflection and the whiteout in the black section.

I think the reflection and such is what frames it in so nicely. Adds a touch of novelty to the overall image. I did a version just now though making the surrounding areas black if you want to see it.

I suppose it all comes down to personal taste really . Yeah that would be good to see it.

P.S. The link in your one to mine doesn't seem to be working.

I'll tell you.
Looks like you came up with a solution though, on "Lily" you managed the same result. I noticed it as I was going through lookng for "Autumn".
Basically, if you have a program that does layering, just add a layer, paint it black, cut a hole in it, duplicate the layer 2x more times, then give each layer a different level of gausian blur, like 20, 50, 100. Flatten them down, and that's it.

On the Lily shot it was just luck that i didn't get the reflection that time. I didn't actually do any editing on it.
Ahh ok, I will need to see if I can do that or not. Sounds easy enough. Thanks for the help
