💘Every night, as the moon rose high in the sky, Psyche's mysterious husband would visit her in the dark. With tender kisses and gentle whispers, he would awaken her from sleep and she would feel herself falling more and more in love with him. The life they shared together was peaceful and happy.

Psyche couldn't imagine that her sister's suspicions could be true - that her husband might be a monster. She refused to believe it, for his love for her was so strong and pure.

And yet, even with the love and happiness they shared, the tickle of curiosity in the back of her mind lingered. If he wasn't a monster, as she suspected, surely there wouldn't be any harm in taking an innocent peek.
