This is number 38 in my list.He has been altered my other means of power, but it doesn't stop him.
Pokey Minch, Ness' overweight neighbor, who antagonizes Ness and his friends throughout the game, he eventually helps carry out Giygas's will and oversees his plans.
His father, Aloysius Minch, resents Ness and his family (particularly Ness' father), saying that their living next door has caused many problems for the Minch family.
Pokey's mother, Lardna Minch, is an unattractive[citation needed], large woman that ends up killing Ness' friend, Buzz Buzz, whom she mistakes for a dung beetle.
The only reasonable member of the family is Pokey's brother, Picky, who is found sleeping near the meteor that carried Buzz Buzz.
He attempts to help Ness in the first sections of the game when he is accosted by enemies, though his attacks are of little use.
He can take a beating and won't go down.
(Personally, he looks kinda creepy)

Picky and Buzz Buzz help Ness at the start I think, Pokey is more of an enemy than an ally

i know that pokey is a bad person, but i was thinking in the description that it was about pokey helping ness

if you had gotten to the final battle of Earthbound (the battle lasts for nearly 30 minutes) Pokey will be in this spider bot thing protecting the boss.

i watched it. and it was scary! and yeah i saw pokey protecting 'em.
but when he became Giygas.
you had to pray for 7 turns until you obliterated it.
that thing totally had OVER NINETHOUSAND hp. you would think you could regularly kill it but noooooo.
since ness defeated that thing, he became way popular.

Yeah, I only watched about 11 mins of the battle before switching the video off.
It was boring and I wanted to see high damage dealings to a big boss, not everyone defending while one praying for 7 turns....
I think it should have been like this.
- The final boss "Giygas" being invincible and having strength beyond any level
- 3 turns to survive before Paula can pray
- Pray once and shows all of them instead of 1 by 1
- Giygas becomes vulnerable to attacks and its attacks become weaker
- Beat the living daylights out of the smoke cloud
That would work much better.

ya exactly but you have to pray 7 times. i don't know exactly but around that much.
